German Chocolate Pie
German Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 unbaked deep dish pie shells, 7 tbsp. cocoa, 3 c. sugar, 4 eggs, beaten and 1 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix together cocoa, sugar, eggs, evaporated milk, margarine and vanilla over lot heat stirring slowly.
Add nuts and coconut lastly after mixture begins to get thick.
Pour into pie shells. Bake 325Β° for 40-50 minutes.
If preferred you may put pecan halves on top of the pie before baking.
Makes 2 pies.
