German Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 6 eggs, 1 large can evaporated milk and 1 stick margarine, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix sugar, flour, cornstarch and cocoa.
Add well beaten eggs, evaporated milk, melted margarine, coconut, salt and vanilla.
Mix all of the ingredients well.
Bake in uncooked pie shells at 300Β° for 45 minutes.
This makes four 9-inch pies or three 9-inch deep dish pies.
This also freezes well.
