German Chocolate Icing is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. evaporated milk, 1 c. sugar, 3 egg yolks, 1/4 lb. butter and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine the ingredients in saucepan and cook and stir constantly over medium heat until mixture thickens, about 12 minutes.
Add 1 1/3 cups of coconut and 1 cup pecans, chopped.
Beat mixture until cool.
Spread over German Chocolate Cake.
