Powdered sugar, German chocolate (melted in hot water before you start mixing cake), eggs (one at a time), flour, vanilla extract, baking soda and salt. Alternate flour ingredients with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour.
Bake in 9-inch cake pans at 350Β° for 25 minutes.
Cool and frost.
