German Chocolate Cake
German Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (4 oz.) pkg. baker's german's chocolate, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 tsp. soda and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Chocolate in boiling water.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after in vanilla and chocolate.
Sift flour with soda and salt.
Add alternately with buttermilk to chocolate mixture, beating after each addition until smooth. Fold in beaten whites.
Pour into four (9-inch) layer pans. Grease flour pans
Bake at 350Β° for about
30 minutes.
Cool and frost with Coconut-Pecan Frosting mix.
Frost between layers and sides also.
