German Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. chopped apples, 1 1/2 c. oil, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. packed brown sugar and 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Place chopped apples in lightly salted water while you prepare the batter.
Beat together oil and white and brown sugars; add eggs one at a time until well blended.
Sift together dry ingredients; add to sugar-egg mixture, mixing well.
Stir in well drained apples, nuts and vanilla.
Spread evenly in lightly oiled and floured Bundt or tube pan.
Bake at 325Β° about 1 1/2 hours or until done.
Cool in pan 20 minutes.
Turn out onto wire rack to cool completely.
Drizzle glaze over cake before serving.
