Gayle's Soda Pop Cake
Gayle'S Soda Pop Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. white cake mix, 1 large pkg. jell-o (6 oz. same flavor as soda, 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 1 (12 oz.) can soda pop (same flavor as jell-o) and 1 large pkg. vanilla instant pudding, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bake cake in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Mix 1 1/2 cups boiling water and Jell-O.
Chill until syrupy.
While the cake is warm, poke holes in it with handle of wooden spoon.
Pour Jell-O over cake, then pour soda over cake.
Frost with pudding, then Cool Whip.
Refrigerate overnight.
