Garfield Lasagna
Garfield Lasagna is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 2 tsp. seasoned salt, 1/2 tsp. seasoned pepper, 1 large (1 lb. 12 oz.) can crushed tomatoes and 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown meat; drain fat.
Add salt, garlic and pepper.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Add crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce.
Mix thoroughly and simmer 30 minutes.
Boil noodles until almost tender.
Rinse.
Pour 1/4 meat sauce into casserole dish.
Top with noodles, then Mozzarella.
In separate bowl, mix cottage cheese and Ricotta together.
Put 1/3 mixture in casserole next. Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce.
Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Let stand before cutting.
If refrigerated, bake at 350° for 1 hour.
