Gail's French Strawberry Pudding
Gail'S French Strawberry Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers, 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar, 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sweet strawberries and 1 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Crush wafers into fine crumbs.
Put half the crumbs in the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Whip margarine, sugar, vanilla and cream cheese together until light and creamy.
Spread over butter crumb mixture.
Spread strawberries over cream mixture. Mix chopped nuts and remaining wafers.
Sprinkle over strawberries.
Chill overnight.
