Funnel Cakes
Funnel Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, beaten, 1 1/4 c. milk, 1/4 c. packed brown sugar, 2 c. all-purpose flour and 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Batter
Mix in large bowl the eggs, milk and brown sugar; stir until blended.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt.
Then, blend the two mixtures together.
Heat oil, preferably in an electric skillet, to 360Β°.
Using a funnel, pour 1/2 cup of batter into hot oil in a round zig-zag pattern.
Cook about 2 1/2 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove to a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Makes 5 to 6 cakes.
