Funnel Cake
Funnel Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, well beaten, 2 c. milk, 4 c. sifted flour, 1/3 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Beat eggs with milk and gradually beat in flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
Beat until smooth.
Holding the opening of a funnel closed, fill the funnel with the batter.
Open the end of the funnel to allow batter to run out in a stream into deep fat oil (375Β°).
Move the funnel to make a pattern, starting at the center and swirling batter outward in a circle.
Fry 2 to 3 minutes or until brown; turn.
Drain on paper towel when done. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Makes approximately 30, depending on size.
