Funnel Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, beaten, 2 c. milk, pinch of salt, 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 2 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Beat eggs with milk in bowl.
Add sifted salt and baking powder.
Mix well.
Add enough flour to make a thin batter.
Heat 1/2 to 1-inch oil in saucepan.
Pour batter into funnel, closing openings with finger.
Drizzle in spiral into hot oil.
Fry until crisp and brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
