Funeral Pie
Funeral Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. seeded raisins, washed, 2 c. water, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 4 tbsp. flour and 1 egg, beaten well, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Soak raisins 3 hours.
Mix sugar, flour and egg.
Add seasonings, raisins and liquids.
Cook over hot water for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
When the mixture is cool, empty into pie dough lined pie pan.
Cover pie with narrow strips of dough, crisscrossed.
Bake until brown at 350Β°.
