Fudge Brownies
Fudge Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. margarine or butter, 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, 3/4 c. sugar, 2/3 c. all-purpose flour and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease bottom only of a square pan (8 x 8 x 2-inches) with shortening.
Heat margarine and 1 package chocolate chips in a 2-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted.
Remove from heat.
Stir in remaining ingredients except nuts and 1/2 cup chocolate chips real hard with a wooden spoon until smooth.
Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Spread in pan with a rubber spatula.
Bake until the center is set, about 30 minutes.
Cool completely; cut into 1 3/4 x 1 1/2-inch brownies.
Store brownies tightly covered.
Makes 20 brownies.
