Fudge
Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 1/2 c. imperial sugar, 1 stick oleo, 14 1/2 oz. pet milk (new cans are only 12 oz. you must add to make 14 1/2 oz.), 2 c. chopped nuts and 32 to 35 large marshmallows, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Stir together first 3 ingredients.
Boil 7 1/2 minutes or until it makes a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and marshmallows.
Add vanilla.
Do not use a mixer!
Stir until marshmallows are melted.
Add nuts and pour into well buttered pan.
Let cool at least 4 to 6 hours.
Do not cut until cooled.
