Fruited Squares
Fruited Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (4 serving size) pkg. jell-o brand gelatin (any flavor), 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 1 c. cold water, ice cubes and 1 (4 oz.) container cool whip, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 1/2 cups.
Add to gelatin and stir until slightly thickened.
Remove any unmelted ice.
Measure 1 cup and fold into whipped topping.
Pour into 8-inch square pan.
Place fruit over creamy layer, then spoon remaining gelatin over fruit.
Chill until firm, about 3 hours.
Cut into squares.
