Fruited Chiffon Squares
Fruited Chiffon Squares is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) pkg. jell-o gelatin (any flavor), 2 c. ice cubes, 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can fruit cocktail, drained, 1 1/2 c. boiling water and 4 oz. cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add ice cubes; stir 3 to 5 minutes.
Remove unmelted ice.
Fold 1 cup Cool Whip into 1/2 of gelatin until smooth.
Pour into 8-inch square pan.
Chill for about 5 minutes, until set.
Add fruit to remaining gelatin and spoon over creamy layer.
Chill until firm.
