Fruit Upside-Down Pudding
Fruit Upside-Down Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. brown sugar, 4 eggs, 3 tbsp. hot water, 1 c. flour and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Combine 1 cup brown sugar and eggs.
Beat well.
Add water and beat again.
Add flour, baking powder and vanilla and mix well. Combine remaining brown sugar and butter in heavy saucepan.
Heat until sugar is melted.
Pour caramel mixture into bottom of 9 x 9-inch cake pan.
Add fruit.
Pour batter over fruit.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately turn pan upside-down onto a serving platter.
Serve warm with milk.
This is scrumptious and rich!
Works great with fruit cocktail.
