Fruit Tarts
Fruit Tarts is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. scalded milk, 1/4 c. granulated sugar, 1/8 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. flour and 1 egg, well beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Make and bake tart shells.
Scald milk.
Mix sugar, salt and flour with beaten egg and pour scalded milk slowly over this mixture, stirring constantly; then return to double boiler and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Add vanilla; cool.
Just before using, fold in half the whipped cream; place layer of berries on top.
Heat currant jelly until it melts and put about 1 tablespoon on top of each tart.
Top with teaspoon of whipped cream.
