Fruit Stuffed Tomatoes
Fruit Stuffed Tomatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 medium ripe tomatoes, peeled, salt, 1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, 1 lb. (2 c.) creamed cottage cheese and 1 red apple (unpeeled), cored and diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Tomatoes.
Gently out pulp from centers, leaving a 1/4-inch thick shell.
(Pulp can be saved for later use in soups and stews.) Turn shells upside down to drain. Sprinkle shells set aside.
In a mixing bowl, cream cottage cheese and cream cheese together.
Stir in apple, orange, nuts and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Stuff tomatoes 1/3 to
1/2 cup full. Garnish orange sections nuts. Chill.
