Fruit Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. butter and 2 cans fruit pie filling, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix the flour, salt, sugar and baking powder; cut in butter until particles are small pea-size.
Put baking soda in egg yolks and sour cream.
Mix into dry ingredients.
Roll out to fit 9 x 12-inch cake pan, including sides.
Place dough in pan (leave 1/4 for top).
Add pie filling.
Make lattice top with remaining dough.
Bake at 375Β° for 30 to 45 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
