Fruit Nectar Salad
Fruit Nectar Salad is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. apricot nectar, 1/2 c. water, 2 (3 oz.) pkg. orange flavored gelatin, 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple and 1 (1 lb. 14 oz.) can apricot halves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Heat apricot nectar and water to boiling; pour over orange gelatin and stir to dissolve.
Drain and reserve pineapple; measure syrup (there should be 1 cup).
Add syrup to orange gelatin mixture; chill until syrupy.
Drain apricots.
Fold crushed pineapple and apricots into chilled, syrupy gelatin.
Turn into 1 1/2-quart mold; chill until firm.
Makes 6 servings.
