Fruit Flan
Fruit Flan is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 eggs, lightly beaten, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Preheat oven to 300Β°.
In a bowl, combine eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
In a small saucepan, allow milk to barely simmer. Pour into egg mixture and stir.
In 8 small ramekins, sprinkle bottoms evenly with grated nuts.
Pour mixture into ramekins and put them in a baking pan with 1-inch hot water.
Bake 50 to 60 minutes.
Test for doneness by inserting a knife blade in middle of flan.
The blade should come out clean.
Unmold the flans into glass dessert dishes.
Top with fresh fruit, such as small grapes, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, sliced passion fruit or blackberries.
Serves 8.
