Fruit Cocktail Cake
Fruit Cocktail Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (no. 2 1/2) can fruit cocktail, 1 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. flour, 1 egg and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Drain syrup from fruit cocktail and set aside. Combine sugar, salt, soda and flour. Beat egg.
Add egg and drained syrup to dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Put in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Sprinkle nuts and brown sugar over batter.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes. Serve with Cool Whip.
Serves 12 or more.
