Fruit Cake Cookies
Fruit Cake Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. dates, chopped, 1/2 lb. candied cherries, chopped (red or green), 1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped, 4 c. english walnuts or pecans, chopped and 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Put dates, cherries, pineapple and nuts in bowl.
Mix flour, soda, salt and cinnamon.
Add to fruit.
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
Add to floured fruit mix.
Grease a cookie sheet.
Make into balls and mash down with fork.
Bake at 325Β° for 15 minutes. Cookies should be light in color and edges brown when removed from oven.
