Fruit Cake Cookies
Fruit Cake Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. oleo or crisco, 4 eggs, separated, 1 tsp. nutmeg and 1 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Sugar and oleo, add egg yolks.
Sift spices with 2 cups flour and add to creamed mixture alternately with fruit juice and sweet milk mixture.
Dredge fruit and nuts with 1 cup flour. Pour batter over dredged fruit and nuts.
Beat egg whites stiff and fold in last.
Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake at 325Β° for about 20 minutes.
