Fruit Cake Cookies
Fruit Cake Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. dates, 1/2 lb. candied cherries, 1/2 lb. candied pineapple, 4 c. pecans and 3 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Chop fruit and nuts.
Place in a large bowl.
Combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon.
Sift over fruit and stir to coat.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add to fruit mixture and mix well by hand.
Use just enough milk or juice to make a stiff batter. (Be careful not to use too much.) Drop by teaspoons onto lightly oiled cookie sheet.
Bake at 325Β° for about 15 minutes.
Do not overbake.
