Fruit Cake
Fruit Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. pecans, 3/4 lb. chopped candied pineapple, 3/4 lb. chopped candied cherries, 1 lb. seedless white raisins and 1 bottle french's brandy flavoring (1 oz.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix butter, sugar and eggs in large bowl.
Add dry ingredients (sift together).
Combine, using heavy spoon or hands.
Add nuts, fruit and flavoring.
Bake 1 pound loaves at 275° for 2 hours and tube pan at 275° for 3 hours.
Half hour before done, take out of oven and brush with honey and corn syrup.
Continue baking.
Turn upside down to cool.
Wrap in a wine cloth.
Store in a plastic bag in a cool place.
