Combine the oil, sugar and eggs; mix well.

Sift together 2 cups flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, allspice and cloves. Add to oil mixture alternately with apple juice.

Mix the other cup of flour with the fruits and nuts.

Add fruits to batter and mix well.

Pour in two 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pans, greased and lined with brown paper.

Place pan of water on lower rack of oven.

Bake at 275Β° for 2 1/2 hours.

Cool before removing paper. Glaze.
