Fruit Cake
Fruit Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. maraschino cherries, whole, 2 lb. pitted dates, whole, 5 c. walnut halves, 2 c. flour and 1 c. white sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Sift together 3 times, the flour, sugars and baking powder. 4th time, sift over fruit and nuts and mix well.
Beat eggs well, add vanilla and cherry juice and mix well.
Add to fruit mixture. Hint
Put in large bowl and mix well with hands.
Grease 2 (8 x 4 x 2 1/2-inch) pans well and line bottoms with waxed paper.
Bake in 300Β° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
One big pan will bake for 2 hours.
