Fruit Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. sifted flour, 1 tbsp. baking soda, 2 eggs, beaten, 1 lb. jar mixed fruit and 1 can condensed sweetened milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Butter a 9-inch tube pan.

Line bottom of pan with waxed paper. Butter the waxed paper.

Preheat oven to 300°.

Mix flour and baking soda and sift.

Set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the eggs, mincemeat, mixed fruit and the nuts.

Mix well.

Add the dry ingredients.

Stir well.

Pour into the prepared pan and bake at 300° for 2 hours.

Invert the pan and cool cake for an hour. Remove from pan and peel off the waxed paper.

Use the small jar of cherries as a garnish for the top of the cake.
