Frozen Slaw
Frozen Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large head cabbage, shredded, 1 large carrot, shredded, 1 large green pepper, shredded, 1 tsp. salt and 1 c. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix cabbage and salt; let stand 1 hour.
Squeeze out excess juice.
Add carrot and green pepper.
Let stand and make the liquid solution with the remaining ingredients.
Boil these ingredients 1 minute.
Cool to lukewarm, then pour salad in containers with lids.
Close tightly and place in deep freezer and use as needed.
Unused portion may be refrozen.
