Frozen Rolls
Frozen Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. yeast, 1/2 c. warm water, 1/4 c. sugar, 5 c. flour and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Dissolve yeast in warm water, add sugar; let set until yeast rises.
Mix flour, soda, salt and baking powder.
Add lard, mix until crumbly.
Add buttermilk and yeast mixture; mix well.
Knead 20 or 30 strokes.
Place in greased bowl; let rise 2 hours.
Push down and knead until smooth.
Roll out 1/2 inch thick; cut out biscuits.
Place on cookie sheet and freeze.
When frozen, place in freezer bags.
Take out when needed, place in greased pan, put in cold oven.
Bake at 400Β° for 25 minutes.
Brush with melted butter.
