Frozen Pink Salad
Frozen Pink Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, 1/2 c. mayonnaise, 1/2 c. sugar, 4 c. miniature marshmallows and 1 c. pecans, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Thoroughly mix cream cheese, mayonnaise and sugar together. Add marshmallows, pecans and fruit cocktail.
Add desired amount of red food color to the whipped cream.
Fold in colored whipped cream.
Freeze in thin layer in serving dish.
Cut into small squares before serving.
Serve frozen or only partially thawed. (This was served on a restaurant buffet on Sundays.)
