Frozen Fruit Mold
Frozen Fruit Mold is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (13 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (keep juice), 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling (not instant), 3/4 c. sugar, 1 egg, beaten and 2 c. (9 oz.) cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Drain pineapple.
Reserve liquid and measure. Add water to make 2 1/4 cups.
Combine pudding mix, sugar and 1/4 cup pineapple syrup in saucepan.
Add egg and blend well. Stir in remaining syrup.
Stir over medium heat until comes to full boil. Remove from heat and cover with wax paper.
Chill.
