Frozen Apricot Dessert
Frozen Apricot Dessert is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 oz. box vanilla wafers (crushed), 1/2 stick oleo, 1 tsp. almond extract, 2 pkg. slivered almonds (toasted) and 1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
And add almond extract and toasted almonds. Mix this crushed wafers.
Put half of mixture in bottom of large x 9-inch) oblong dish.
Slice ice cream and put half of it over wafers.
Place layer of apricot preserves (use all) over cream.
Another layer of ice cream.
Add remainder of wafers
Freeze.
To serve, add whipped cream.
