Frosted Bread
Frosted Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large unsliced loaf sandwich bread (order at bakery), 1 egg yolk, beaten, 1/2 lb. english cheese, grated, 1/2 lb. soft margarine and salt to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Remove crusts of bread and cut into 32 cubes.
Beat egg yolk and add to cheese.
Beat with margarine and spices.
Fold into stiffly beaten egg white.
Use toothpick to hold cubes on five sides.
At this point, cubes may be put on a cookie sheet and frozen for up to two weeks.
Place in a 400Β° oven and bake until puffy and bubbly.
