Frogs Eye Salad
Frogs Eye Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2/3 c. pineapple juice and 1 egg, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In small pan, mix sugar, flour and salt and stir in pineapple juice and egg.
Cook moderately, stirring until thickened.
Add lemon juice.
Cook pasta in 6 cups of water.
Boil only 2 minutes.
Remove from heat; cover.
Let set 6 to 8 minutes.
Drain at once and rinse with cold water.
Combine cooked mixture with pasta.
Cover and chill in refrigerator.
Stir rest in lightly. Chill at least 1 hour.
