Friend Pat's Swedish Cabbage Rolls
Friend Pat'S Swedish Cabbage Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1/2 lb. ground sausage, 1/2 c. rice, soaked (raw), 1 onion and 2 garlic cloves, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix all ingredients except cabbage.
Boil cabbage until leaves are soft enough to separate from cabbage head.
Cut out hard stem from leaf.
Put stuffing in cabbage leaf and roll; secure with toothpicks.
Sprinkle each layer with cinnamon and lemon juice. Pour 1 large can of tomato juice plus juice from the can of tomatoes over cabbage rolls.
Cook slowly in oven for 2 hours. These can be frozen for later use.
