Fried Rice
Fried Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. cooking oil, 1/4 c. finely chopped, cooked ham, pork, bacon or chinese sausage or a combination, 1/4 c. raw shrimp, shelled and finely chopped (optional), 2 slightly beaten eggs and 1 tbsp. soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In hot oil, brown garlic, stir in shrimp for 1 minute, then add meat sauce.
Saute 3 minutes.
Push to one side of pan and stir in eggs until cooked, then stir in rice.
Season with soy sauce, m.s.g., salt, pepper and scallions.
Mix well.
