Fried Okra

Wash and slice okra.
Pat dry with paper towels.
Combine eggs and buttermilk.
Add okra.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Combine flour and meal.
Drain okra, small portions at a time, using slotted spoon.
Dredge okra, small portions at a time in flour mixture. Put 2 to 3 inches of oil in a Dutch oven or heavy saucepan.
Heat and fry okra to golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
