Fried Green Plantains
Fried Green Plantains is an easy dinner. Made with 2 or 3 green plantains and enough oil to fry, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Peel plantains and cut diagonally to 1-inch thick pieces. Heat oil to about 350Β°, medium to high heat.
Fry them for about 7 to 8 minutes, turning them occasionally.
Remove them and squash them flat.
Fry them again for another 3 or 4 minutes until they brown.
Remove onto a plate with an absorbent paper towel.
Serve with a little salt on top (optional).
Serve with rice and chicken.
