Fresh Strawberry Pie
Fresh Strawberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 or 9-inch) pie shell, baked, 1 qt. fresh strawberries, 1 1/2 c. water, 2 tbsp. cornstarch and 3/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Slice the quart of berries and pat dry with a paper towel. Spread berries in the baked and cooled shell.
Combine water, cornstarch and sugar in a pan.
Cook to boil and boil for 2 minutes until mixture is clear and thick.
Remove from heat and add gelatin.
Stir until dissolved.
While still hot, pour evenly over berries.
Chill.
Serve with whipped cream or topping.
