Fresh Strawberry Pie
Fresh Strawberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. white karo syrup, 2 heaping tbsp. cornstarch, 1 c. water and 2 heaping tbsp. strawberry jello, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cook sugar, Karo, cornstarch and water until clear and thick, then add jello and stir until dissolved.
(Add food coloring if desired.)
Let cool.
Add strawberries, washed and cut, and pour into pie shell.

Chill several hours.
