Fresh Orange Cake
Fresh Orange Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 oz. butter, softened, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 c. flour and 3 oranges, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Mix softened butter and sugar in a bowl; add eggs and grated rind from orange.
Mix well; add flour and baking powder.
Mix well and add juice from 1 orange and pour into well-buttered 8-inch plate.
In oven at 375Β° for 4 minutes; reduce heat for 25 to 30 minutes longer.
As soon as cake is baked, put it on a plate. While still warm, pour over it the juice of the two remaining oranges, with 1/2 cup sugar that has been dissolved.
