Fresh Fruit Crumble
Fresh Fruit Crumble is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 c. fresh pears, pared, cored and sliced, 1/3 c. mrs. butterworth's syrup, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 3/4 tsp. cinnamon and 3/4 c. uncooked oatmeal, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large bowl, combine pear slices, syrup, lemon juice and peel and cinnamon.
Mix well.
Put in 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Stir together flour, oatmeal and nutmeg.
With a pastry cutter, cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle over pears.
Bake at 375Β° for 40 minutes or until pears are tender.
