Fresh Blueberry Pie
Fresh Blueberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Combine and mix well dry ingredients in large saucepan.
Add water and stir to dissolve cornstarch.
Add 1 cup of berries and cook, stirring constantly, over moderate heat until thickened. Add lemon juice and stir well to mix; cool slightly.
Add 3 cups of berries.
Transfer all filling to pie shell.
Chill thoroughly. Serve with whipped cream, ice cream, etc.
