Beat the first 7 ingredients well with a mixer until blended and then with a large spoon. Add apples, raisins and nuts.
Pour into a well-greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan or tube pan. Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 45 minutes in the 9 x 13-inch pan or 45 minutes to 1 hour in a tube pan.
