Fresh Apple Cake

Mix apples, sugar, nuts, eggs, oil and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients and add to batter.
Mix well.
Lightly grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
Pour in batter.
Bake at 350Β° for 50 to 60 minutes. Punch holes in warm cake.
Frost with juice of 1/2 lemon, mixed with powdered sugar.
