Mix apples and 2 cups sugar thoroughly.
Mix Wesson oil, nuts, eggs, vanilla, flour, soda, cinnamon and salt together and mix with apples and sugar.
Put in greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan and bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
